Blue Mink

Hi, all.

I see explanations of blue mink in the fur resource, though not a photo. I've just gotten a mink-collared coat that I'm thinking should perhaps be called ranched, "blue mink." Is this right?

I'm not sure Steph. It looks more silvery on my monitor.

Great pic however, very clear and the blue of the coat and button is
stunning.

Thanks, Sue! I LOVE the buttons on this in a completely irrational way. :D You're right. The color is silvery-gray. Somehow, I had it in my head that that color gets called "blue"? I may be getting confused by the silver-gray color of "blue fox." Gray mink? Silver mink?

I'm not sure Steph. You could be right with the blue mink being silvery in colour.

I found this "Iris Blue Mink" coat here

I just did a very fast search on vivisimo. I'm sure there are
other examples of blue mink on both 'v' and google'

I just started trying Vivisimo Sue. Thanks for the recommendation. It makes a real difference in some places.
