Bonnie Cashin Coach Mystery Bag

Hi all ! I discovered this bag at a resale shop, at first I thought it was just a nice bag from Neimans as it had the store label, I peeled it back to reveal a Bonnie Cashin for Coach label. I've held on to it for a while, though I've never really determined what it would be used for. My first guess is an overnight bag ? It's sides are hard sided like a travel bag, enormous kiss lock pocket on one side, and odd zip on the other. Also, am I'm right in guessing its 1960s ? Looks like it fit a modern lap top ! the kisslock, that zipper pull and the stripe lining has me thinking anywhere from late 60s to very early 70s, too. that is gorgeous, what a great find!

so what does it measure, if i may ask?

This 1963 ad has a very similar Cashin Carry bag at the bottom. It has a kiss lock pocket on one side and a zippered pocket on the other. The description says: "The Attache case, a zippered opening in the back and outside attached envelope purse in the front. Can be used as an overnight case, brief case, etc. Fine cowhide in black only. 45.00"
