Hi. I'm new hear. I bought a purse from Goodwill for $6. I never gave it much attention. It's black and I believe it is definitely leather. I was curious to see if there was any information on the brand. The only thing I found was on the magnet clasp. It reads 1974222 U.S.A. with TM of a tulip. I'm just curious. I have no intention of selling the purse, I'm just really curious. Any info would be helpful. Note: The lining is a nice thick black fabric, cotton I think. No other markings. Thank you. Sorry if this isn't where I should be asking.

Thank you. That's what kept coming up with a Google search. I also wonder if it could also be a Montblanc. The magnetic closure is made by Montblanc.

Montblanc is the maker of the hardware not the purse. This style was a popular one... a few companies manufactured some version of this small hobo bag.
