bought these big e levis on ebay

they haven't been delivered yet, they're black tab big e jeans, which is confusing to me can anyone fill me in on the history of bar tack big e black tab levis jeans, and if they're true vintage; i'm pretty sure they're legitimate 60s levis but I haven't got them yet so I don't know.

i just bought them on ebay, i don't need help validating them i just want an explanation to as why the big e black tab would be present on jeans, and like when they're from.

@Fleerrpp we can help with dating them, but for that we would need complete photos of the jeans, front and back, and any labels they have.
