I hope this is ok to post this here, if not, please let me know if I'm outta line!
OK, Gary and I have been working on new directions to take C&C in (don't worry, still selling vintage though but will also include other offshoots) and I have a couple of ideas in mind but need to do some research and see how feasible they are. One of the ideas relates to lingerie and I have a few manufacturers lined up.
This is where YOU come in (sorry guys, this is a ladies only project for now, I have some men's ideas lined up for the future!).
We are a varied bunch in the VFG so I need you gals for my business research survey relating to sizing.
I need to know your bust size (taken in inches around the fullest part of your bust over a well fitting bra)
AND your bra size as well.
I have one manufacturer in mind so I need you to take your measurements to get your bra size according to the way they do it so your size corresponds with their sizing.
Here is their directions on how to measure for them:
The measurements must be made against the skin as opposed to over clothing.......(I think they mean you can wear a normal unpadded bra though but you can take the measurements "nude" and with a bra on if you want to make sure):
1. To find your band size (32, 34, 36 etc.), measure directly under the bust and straight across the back. Hold the tape measure firmly. Add 4 inches to an even number and 5 inches to an odd number. This is your band size.
2. To find out your bust measurement which will determine your cup size, measure the fullest part of the bust in inches. This must a looser measurement to step 1. In fact the tape measure should almost slip off to get the best results.
3. Subtract your band size (step 1) from the second measurement (step 2). The difference determines your cup size.
Difference between back size and bust measurement in inches
Cup size Same = A cup
Cup size 1" more = B cup
Cup size 2" more = C cup
Cup size 3" more = D cup
Cup size 4" more = E cup (or DD)
Cup size 5" more = F cup (or DDD)
---------------------------------------------
If you are not sure, then just send me your bust and then underbust (rib) and I'll calculate it for you.
You can email me with your measurements at:
[email protected] or send me a U2U.
This info will remain confidential for my eyes only!!!:D
Thanks a bunch gals!
