Brass and Rhodium Clip-on Earrings

There are no markings on these earrings. They seem to have the same kind of clip on device though. Would this indicate they are made by the same company? Or is this just a common style of clip-on?

The pearl cabs are plastic. Does the style or materials give you an idea of the age they might be?

These are fairly typical 1980s earrings. Clip on earrings feature in most decades but that little rubber pad is usually later 70's-90s.
