Brass bead chain bracelet ?

I thought this might be of some interest here: I did find out some things about it. ~~Are they just called 'brass bead chains'?

I have just started on my jewellry I've been collecting over the years! Too many boxes. Think I prefer clothing!

Everytime I look at this bracelet, I think of sink drain plug chain!

The clasp has 'pat pend.' on the back and is very similar to one in a 45/46 catalogue.
Would this be from that era? or am I just blowin' smoke?

Brass jewellery was hugely popular in the U.S. during WW2. It was hard to get overseas because brass was used for shells but I have a fair bit of brass WW2 jewellery.

and a nice compliment from 'Linda' -- thx. girl!

I like it! Look forward to seeing what else you've been hiding away in our collection. At least it takes up less room than 50s prom dresses, is all I can say in favour of jewellery.. :D
