the YKK info is interesting, it seems to be one of the most common brands here in the States.

That is such a cool piece of history! Thanks for posting, Von. I didn't know half of the information in that article.... It's so interesting, as stated in this article and in the information posted a couple weeks ago about zippers & strippers, that zippers were considered vulgar, hence the reason for the placket fly and the reluctance of makers to use them for everyday women's clothing (too easy to get out of).
