A catalogue (on Poiret) by the Metropolitan Museum of Art thanks, among many others, Rachel Brishoual for either lending to the exhibition or allowing reproduction of their costumes. I don't know if she is the same Brishoual.
Here is one small item from a 1964 Pasadena newspaper: "Three designers were in the audience...the third was a tiny French woman, Mme. Brishoual, who was once with Christian Dior and is now making perfectly elegant clothes including a pink print ballgown in a new "wineglass" (inverted) shape."
