Bristol Vintage Fashion Fair photos!

Got back today from the Bristol fair! I'm tired, exhausted and mucky (it's humid here) but I uploaded the photos of my stall at the fair. None of me as I'm not photogenic but Jake is! :)

Managed to sell quite a bit, the vintage rail was quite empty at the end of the day so I need to go on some buying trips this month. The Victorian stuff didn't do so well as it was mostly students who wanted 50's and 60's wearables. I sold a turn of the century corset to a collector and managed to shift a few bits that I had laying around in the bargain bin.
I bought some stuff too- a red crinoline, some vintage bras and a beautiful yellow high waist girdle!

Edwin was selling some VERY cool vintage men's shirts and there was so much 50's stuff at all the stalls it was unbelieveable. Not much Victorian or Edwardian except for a couple of bodices that I saw but loads of vintage.

Everyone kept asking about the 50's dress I was wearing and someone wanted to buy it but what the heck was I supposed to wear then?

Here are the pix!!

I always think if people only knew the work that when into making such a great looking stand. Not only that but they even wanted the dress off your back, no accounting for some people.
Pleased you have sold some items and hopefully you think it was all worth while.
