Burberry Men\'s Runway

From Spring and fall for this year. what made you guess it was burberry's? everything is coming up plaid..

Interesting to note, that this collection is various places. On the british site men were polled whether they thought these looks beloned on the street or runway, and more british men picked "street' and on other sites more american men picked "runway"

In the late 80s early 90s, i had a suit jacket this exact plaid. maybe just a hair brighter. Peaked collar, shoulder pads, cropped, military inspired buttons over a hunter green pencilish skirt. i was so sick of it...now i shouldn't have gotten rid of it LOL

I swear one of my cousins had a jacket similar at one time.

The second actually reminds me of what some of the younger guys are doing with the "grandpa look". maybe not in that color combo exactly, but that look is alive and well.

The first guy looks like he is going as a Ken doll for halloween. or an actor playing Ken in a skit about Barbie and Ken.

The third guy would be probably driving around on a scooter somewhere in England. or maybe somewhere else in europe.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing a guy wearing the jacket in the last picture in real life. I kinda like the coat. If it had more neutral accessories i am sure my brother and cousin would snap up that look in a second.

Its amazing how you can be thin, tall, good looking, and young, and still look like a git when you put on the wrong clothes. That top guy looks like he has a paunch!

The pieces, individually, could all be made to work, but together? WHen did Peewee Herman/Shriner nerd-chic become de rigeur?

Oh lord, that Burberry coat is hot, but reminds me of an old Burberry coat lining I found at a charity shop in the 80s. I wore that lining like it was the 2000.00 coat it came out of. I think I lost it on the basement floor of the old LimeLight one Sat am

I liked the trench coat the best too. Looks great with the black pants and shoes, even the yellow scarf, but its a little over-accessorized with the green gloves, red bumbershoot and what the hell is on his lapel? a nosegay???

I can't say that I like any of them. :o <p>I agree with Ellen<br><i>"I have to say those guys look very silly. But it's good for vintage sellers."</i><p>However, I do have a few similar styles I could list for April's VTA. <p>Cat :eureka:
