Some of you may remember my sometimes-sad adventures with our cats bringing baby bunnies into the house through the dog flap. The cats are in lockdown now, but one cat slipped out a few days ago and, sure enough, came trotting right back in with another baby bunny in his mouth. Fortunately the little guy was OK and we drove him to a wildlife rescue place for release when he is old enough. In the meantime the glass fish tank in which we temporarily house small stray non-pets is in the kitchen, awaiting a refreshing of the litter and cedar chips in the bottom (no animals in it), before the next temporary resident arrives.
I just wandered into the kitchen and found our sweet, old/vintage cat enjoying a respite from the other cat who loves her and won't leave her alone...
