Butterfly Lace Dress Aging

Love this butterfly tight lace dress. Any info is appreciated. Some issues with buttons and staining at back and collar. I was thinking 30’s-40’s.

What length is it? Do you think it could have been shortened?

The plastic buttons with the rhinestone centres are postwar. It seems too short for the 50s but I think it has to be in there somewhere - maybe early 50s and could it be a junior miss teen's dress?

It is a bigger size so it may look shorter from the photos. 44” Bust, 36” waist, 16” shoulder and just below the knee for the length at 41.5”.

I *think* just seeing the photos that it's a WW2 time shorter length day dress.
