Buttons with R shaped belt logo

Hey all!

I have this beautiful but very wounded wool dress. There's no labels but the buttons all have an "R" which seems to be shaped out of a belt, or at least there seems to be a tiny buckle on the stem of the letter.

I'd love to know if anyone recognizes the logo and what designer it may belong to. I've included a picture of the full dress as well - a long sleeve knit wool with beautiful shape
