Hi, so sorry I keep bugging you all like this - I have a bunch of Canadian made vintage (at least I'm pretty sure most are vintage)...can I use a CA # like you would an RN#, is there a formula for it like the RN? thanks

The CA #'s, as far as I know, haven't been dated. That said, using the formula for the RN#'s shouldn't be your first step in determining age.

You're better off trying to date an articale using label, construction, overall look.

If you already do this, read it as a suggestion for others who don't. :clapping:

Hi Gayle, thanks - I used to collect vintage items years ago, so I do look at those things, some are obvious some not so much I find (I have 2 mini's that I think are vintage based on all those things, but then I think maybe they are vintage khnock off's - fabric feels vintage, but...I'm just not sure...) -

I want to sell these items and I don't want to lead anyone astry or mislist them, there's some I know are from the 70's - but that's pretty broad I think, some I know are from the 80's - again, broad...

Well I guess I'm off to the library since I've spent hours scouring the internet, too bad about the CA #'s, like when I have it narrowed down some, it would nice to use as a bit of confirmation to help with dates...oh well...thanks again!
