Caftan description????

I believe this to be a caftan and it has a paisley type print.

After all my searching, I have come up with nada. Many caftans out there but none with this accordion looking pleating that I can find. There is the name "Greencastle" within the print, and no label. 1960's???

I would think with that print, it would be late 60s, early 70s. You are right on with the accordian pleating. I would also throw in "patio dress" since that word seems to be a popular keyword now.

My camera could use some adjusting, but my caffein level has not quite kicked in.

But yes, it is bright! I do see "Patio" in a lot of descriptions, kind of a catch-all word.

and throw in sunray pelated kaftan...as thats quite unusual in a kaftan l'd say...if opened up, would it be a half circle..and so made of a huge circle of fabric, it looks like it might!!

It does open into a huge half circle, and I was thinking of pinning it out against a wall so it would show that detail, instead of using the mannequin. Thank you for the description, this style does seem unusual.

I believe I will be up till the wee hours of the morning getting my first items ready to post by tomorrow. I really appreciate all the help I've been getting.
