Calling all lace experts!! Help needed!

Stunning 60s mini dress has a nude sheath and is total lace!

I know nothing about lace, so I'm begging all of you for your expertise...

What is this kind of lace called?

The sleeves are not lined. The edges almost look kind of scalloped....

Looks like some sort of lurex - don't quote me. Cute! And I would definitely call those scalloped edges ;)

Deborah - Thank you! It is a metalic lace. The lace is kind of crispy. Reminds me of crispy metalic ribbon. Isn't lurex more slinky??

Dear Vicki,

I have three items that have lurex weave and they all have a 'crispy' or 'rough' texture if that helps! So from my 3 items & feedback from the forum on two of em that sure sounds and looks like lurex. But, let's see what the other's say!
