calling all levis experts - i need your help!

i'm stumped with these - a pair of levis white flannel lined leather boots in very dark navy, with white stitching and a white little e levis label.

i would be really grateful for any dates (70's or 80's?), and if anyone knows if there is a particular name for this style of boot?

they are pull on with an elasticated top and cuff, and i've never seen any others like them.

You know, I have looked and looked at these and do not know. I'll just toss in that their general gist seems very 80s to me, though. I know I had FootJoys and Nikes, in the 80s, with those very-rounded, high-rubber-edged vamps. Somehow, the elastic-gathered ankles look Michael Jackson/Thriller/moonwalk-aged, too.

I hope to hear more.

thanks steph - i'm thinking along the same lines (early to mid eighties). seems i'm worse at dating the stuff that i actually wore than all the earlier stuff... :D

if anyone knows any more i would be interested to know too!
