Where is this located in the coat? Any chance we are looking at the owner's initials?

Hi there, the partially faded letters look like EALAL in cursive which I think is an identifier imprinted by the manufacturer. I do not think it represents a known designer and I do not believe it to be a monogram. It's a faux fur, and would have been a trendy jacket at the time, aiming for those who liked that style but wanted to wear something more affordable or wanted an alternative to real fur.
