Photos of Matt Dillon as Dallas in the Outsiders. I suspect they're vintage Levis (505?). Hopefully a keen eye can spot some tell-tale signs.

Hiya, just had a browse at the vintage 606's. They were high rise and slim leg which seems to fit. It would be very difficult to guess without a clear straight on image.
 
you could try going to IMDb's site for The Outsiders, scroll down to the section for complete cast and crew, you'll see the costumers listed with links you can click. maybe you can find a way to contact them that way; they maybe would recall the specifics.
