Can anyone tell me about this vintage bag?

Can anyone tell me anything about this bag? There's no manufacturers stamp that I can see but it does have D. Brev on the hardware with some numbers.

I did some research and found that the Brev is Patent in Italian (brevetto) or brevet, the French meaning of the same. Of course that relates to the latch itself, but little else.

It appears to be genuine leather with a croc stamp border. Just trying to see if anyone can tell me when it was made - or anything at all about it :)

Do you have any larger photos? It looks quite modern from the shot you've included, but interior shots, details of the buckle or underside would help.

So far I'm thinking '80s or '90s but it's hard to tell from a small pic.
