Can hardly wait for next Autumn - new fur coats

I found two nice fur coats today. One is faux leopard with mink (or maybe muskrat) collar and cuffs. The other is black persian lamb with mink collar of white and black. The collar color is unusual. I guess it's dyed. Both are large sizes so I hope they will do well next fall. What do you think? Are they good coats?

I am really the wrong person to be responding about furs...though faux leopard seems to be a hit all the time...

I just wanted to say this is the earliest sneak preview I think we have ever had!! Coming...in the fall :) I love it :)

I will take a guess and say 50s on the first and 60s on the second.:)

Oh, man...I love that leopard! I've picked up a couple of furs for next fall too, but nothing as outstanding as this! Please let me know when you list the leopard.

Thanks for the date help. And Jody, I will let you know when I list the leopard coat in the fall. I'm glad you think it's so great.

ME-OW!!!
We CAT GIRLS just can't help FALLING for the LURE of the LEOPARD!!
BEAUTIFUL!!!

And the PERSIAN LAMB is so PSH and 60's ELEGANT!!!
GREAT FIND!!

That second one has a cross mink collar! I have a coat with EXACTLY the same collar, only it's a black wool coat. I thought it was a 50's coat.

Let me see if I still have photos already taken.

It's a slight ivory color, right?

These are all I have of my old photos. I have to re-shoot the coat, as the flat black surface was tough to photo with my set-up last winter. The image of the full coat has been lightened a LOT. Maybe it's a wool blend. I do know that it's very, VERY heavy.

I had asked about the fur on the VC&A board last year and that's what they said it was. I guess there are all different shades of cross mink out there. This is ivory and brunette.
