I wondered if someone could help to identify and date this childs shirt. It belonged to my mum who died last year and I have found it in a box of old items in the loft. It has the label "Endurable" with the words "for all seasons" above and the words "Fast Colour" below. The four seasons "Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter" are in the four corners and across the bottom of the label are the words ""Will Wear Won't Tear"
My wife thinks it may have been a dolls shirt, but I don't think they would have gone so far as to put a label in a dolls outfit!!
The shirt buttons half way up and has long sleeves with fold over cuffs to take cufflinks. It has no collar but appears to be able to take a cardboard type collar and it has three button holes to which this would fit.
It is beautifully made and I would love to find out more about it.
