Can somebody help me identify this?

Hello,

I picked this up today at an estate sale, and I've never seen anything like it before. There are no brand labels. There is a care tag with a RN number, but I can't seem to place it. It has a drop waist and is completely sheer on top aside from the small V-Patch of lacework. I appreciate anybody's input and suggestions! Have a great day!

It looks like an underdress to a two piece set from the 80s. It would have had a long deep v-necked top to wear with it.

I think Bartondoll has nailed it! That's just what I was about to say - if you're able to go back to the sale, you might be able to find the overtop, it will match the skirt.
