Can someone help me with a Tabi?

I have a Tabi International dress- I would like to post a photo, but am still figuring it out- it is a brown/ rust wool Shirtdress, double breasted, button down- looks like early 80's, but anyway I searched the Label Resource and did not see anything.

Can anyone tell me about this label? And how I can post a pic of the dress perhaps?

*EDIT* I see how to attach a photo- in the meantime I am still curious about the name

Here is one tiny bit of information about Tabi International from a 1986 Chicago newspaper help-wanted ad:

"With over 20 retail locations TABI INTERNATIONAL is now opening its first Chicago area store at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg. We sell ladies' classic sportswear separates ..."

I will continue to look for information about them.

They are a chain of Canadian stores. Nothing special, kind of casual office wear, not ever incredibly stylish.

I looked at the only ads I found for Tabi (1983-1990) and I learned only that Lord & Taylor (and perhaps other stores) sold their clothes at least in the late 1980s.

Tabi is a Canadian importer I believe - I believe they also manufacturered but off-shore, so Tabi is a brand, a store, and a label! It was started by the daughters of the founder of PORTS International. I think his name was Watanabe? Tabi dresses and suits were designed for office wear for young Yuppie women while PORTS was aimed at their mothers -- society women's everyday clothes.
