I can't read the last name. "Fred W. M...."
It is an early 1900s tuxedo tailcoat.

Last post about Stokes...

I found F.W. Stokes, tailor, at 1289 Broadway in the 1892 Brooklyn directory, but at that time his business was recorded as "Stokes & Lockwood" (F.W. Stokes & Chas. B. Lockwood). I didn't find an 1893 directory, but the 1894 directory listed just Fred'k W. Stokes, tailor, at 1289 Broadway, at which time his home was noted to be nearby at 1291 Broadway. He was also working alone at 1289 Broadway in the 1895, 1897, 1898, and 1899 Brooklyn directories, but the 1900 directory recorded his address as 64 Grove. It appears, then, that your label dates to 1894-1899.
