Can you date my suit? Can I take my suit on a date?

I really, really like this, and really really want to keep it. I am thinking early 60's..... I am also thinking this is brocade, because the pattern is on the reverse side of the material.

What do ya think?

if the fabric is almost reversible so to speak, then it is damask. if you can see threads on the back, then it is brocade or cloque.

I would really want to keep it too i would be no help if you were trying to talk yourself out if it.

I say late 60's to early 70s from the lines, wide lapel, & fabric choice.
And I think ya oughtta keep it too! It's very nice...
