Can you help me date this wedding dress?

hi, i was wondering if anyone could help me date this wedding dress, i am at a complete loss as to how old it is. The main features of the dress are: metal side zip, peaked sleeves with press studs, small oval shoulder pads. The fabric is net with white embroidery. Thanks for looking :)

1940s, but I am still practising being specific about years - I would say mid to late. I recognise that label - I do believe liz/emmapeelpants has a very pretty 1950s dress with it in her ebay shop as I was looking at it yesterday! Unforunately I know no more about it.

I think it's really pretty, and I may be wrong but I've always thought that the sign of a 'better' vintage wedding dress was one where the designer put their name to it. I may be wrong of course :duh:

Anyway, definitely 40s, and very nice too! :)
