I’m trying to ID this fur. It was custom made for a private client at Bergdorf Goodman in Dec 1978 by Italian furriers Melegari e Costa. From all my searching I’m thinking maybe skunk? But the brown doesn’t seem to fit that. It’s an absolutely beautiful, impeccably crafted coat but it’s not often cold enough where I live to wear it. Thanks for any help!
