Trying to work out the age of this necklace, but struggling! Possibly gold plated, I think the centre stone is glass…anyone seen anything similar or have any ideas? Thanks!!

This looks to be a mid- to low-range necklace, with a standard goldtone chain, likely dating to anywhere between the 1950s through the 1970s. It's a rather generic necklace of that span of years. It is missing 6 of its faux pearls. If you are seeking to wear it yourself, you would want to replace the faux pearls. If you are looking at it for resale, I'm not sure it would be worth the pearl replacement.

I hope my comments do not disappoint you too much. If it is a "family" piece that you want to wear, that is always a good reason to hang on to it!!

Thank you so much for your reply I really appreciate it. I picked this necklace up for 50p in a charity shop! Many of the pearls were loose so my daughter and I removed and reset them. We were just curious about its age as it’s not a style we have seen before and the image search didn’t bring anything up. So thanks for your comments, any info is interesting to hear!
