racey huh! not!! any guesses to it's age? I believe it is hand embroidered, the gown itself appears machine sewn, the lace is beautiful

no help at all but it's very pretty! my guess (and it really is a guess) is edwardian, but shall wait to be corrected. no flashing those ankles then!

i know i know! I am just having a very difficult time finding a picture less than 10 years old with me and my hair is DOWN!
To me the neckline looks too "open" if that makes any sense to have the edwardian buzzer in my head go off - but i am just learning when it comes to that sort of thing. Lei would know for sure.

The embroidery looks like an art nouveau design so I would place it as around 1910 when necklines became slightly relaxed. Anyway the Edwardians wore plunging necklines during the evenings so possibly the neckline would be appropiate.
