Can you tell me more about this beaded belt?!

Good evening (where I am... or morning? :D) friends! I found this belt last week and am curious if anyone can give me some more information. It reminds me of art deco with the geometric shapes, but I'm not sure if that's quite right... do you think this would have gone with a dress? As always, any information is greatly appreciated. The backing seems to be polyester, three button and loop closure, and the size tag is printed in dark ink that seems a little blotchy.

It looks pretty modern to me....my guess is within the last five years or so but the style isn't telling me much, sorry - I'm going on the construction and fabric and how it looks brand new.

I think Nicole has it right. The style looks like a modern version of Deco, plus the sz tag, the aurora borealis sequins and the button and loop closure . I would think 90s evening wear at the older end of the range.
