cannot figure out how to post a thread in the introduce me forum..

Hi, for the life of me I cannot figure out how to post in the introduction forum. So will here. I love just about everything vintage. Looking at fashion from the 60's 70's and some 40's - 50's brings back a lot of memories. What an era to have come of age in! I do have a question and honestly not sure where to post it, so will do so here. I love old scarves, and do have some Vera Neumann, but I have come across 3 scarves that look like they came straight out of Laugh IN. They have the psychedelic pop look to them. The mark is a groovy looking symbol with the letters ASSOC in it. For the life of me, I cannot find anything on these. Any help identifying the maker would be most helpful if you have any knowledge of it. Thanks in advance!

Hi and welcome to the forums! Your scarves look great - unfortunately I have no other information on them for you. Maybe someone else here will chime in.

I am not sure though why you were not able to post in the other sub-forum - the functions are the same everywhere.
 
Howdy! I love that! I found this scarf at auction on eBay which may help you. It seems that the "Assoc." refers to the International Silk Association Japan. Try this lead:

You can’t start a new thread in the Welcome forum. We do have some controls on where you can start new threads, otherwise people tend to post threads in the wrong place.

Thank you all! I will look into the international Silk Association for more information! I have one other that is in colors similar to the one linked here.. .
