Wow, they're fabulous. Much better than the ones in the shops at the moment. And much better than the one I'm currently trying to crochet. LOL!

The top one is very much in the modern style of ponchos that are doing the rounds, but a little classier and could be worn day or evening which is superb as most of the ones out right now are strictly one or the other.

And I can see the trend-conscious plaid-mad burberry crowd having a tizzy over the middle one!

Nice to see that the vintage fashions are outdoing the modern trends yet again.

I think it is the newest Lucky that has crochet ponchos and capelets in it
(or maybe it was Bazaar?...looked through several today, and I'm confused now). I really like the plaid one, and mohair is a definite plus!

Anybody got a magazine scan for these long shawl capes? I can only find the shorter capelets and know I have seen a mag recently with the longer ones in it. Well, off to take pictures.
