And on the lining inside the pockets, it is signed CAPUCCI. I only know on of roberto capucci. But to my knowledge he never did fur coats. any help would be great. please excuse the quick,, not so great pics. thanks

This looks like patchwork fox to me. The irregularities in color and the "tufts" of fur probably mean that all the leftover pieces and scraps of fur that were leftover from other coats were pieced together to make a new fur "fabric" so to speak. You can probably tell by looking down through the fur at the pelt. You should see lots of irregular seams in the pelts.

you are correct,I can see where they were pieced together. What about dating fur? any ideas on this one. Or possibly who capucci is? To my knowledge, roberto capucci never did anything with furs, i could be wrong, that is just the only designer of that name i could turn up
