Carlye? Ribbon Dress?

I see this label in the label resource as early 1970s.

The dress bodice is lace with ribbon, black beads and rhinestones.
The bottom is pleated and like batiste fabric.

Is it 1970s? I thought this style was earlier perhaps.

Thanks for any help. Sandy

Many fashion companies change their labels slowly, or not at all - your dress looks early '60s to me.

A couple of questions that might help - is that a metal zipper I see? How long is the skirt? Is it permanently pleated (ie, has a synthetic component)?

Yes, metal.
Scallops along bodice bottom but 24.50? with about a 2 inch hem.
I believe permanently pleated yes.
Thank you Nicole.

I picked up another dress with this name again. The label on it is late 1940s according to the resource.
Does anyone have information on this company other than what is in the label resource.
I ask as it states they were known for their junior wear. I would agree the top dress here looks for a junior but the 1940s dress seems for a more mature lady. Would a Junior wear this?
Wondering if they had 2 lines perhaps?

Was it very prolific at the time does anyone know?

Thank you. Sandy
