Hi can anyone tell me if they have information regarding this designer. I have a dress of hers in my store and my business partner are arguing if the dress is 40's or 50's

Carol Brent was a line from Sears. There is a series of books of books put out by Dover Publications titled "Everyday Fashions of the 30's (or 40's, 50's, 60's, etc) from the Sears Catalog." Maybe your dress is in there - I love it when that happens!

i had a Carol Brent long ago; she was an early 50's number. velvet shirtwaist dress with rhinestone buttons on the shoulders.
