Cashmere...

Looking for a Christmas present for my Mum. She loves anything cashmere as she feels the cold a ridiculous amount (she is very tiny!)

Don't mind if it is vintage or more modern, but I was sort of looking for a sweater dress or plain sweater.. but anything will if it's 100% cashmere. Maggie had a lovely dress a few weeks back but I was a bit unsure about the colour, and now I wish I'd bought it!

Sizewise small or XS - she's a very petite UK8/US 6 but a little bigger would work as she always wears about 10 million layers.

Post here or feel free to U2U me!

Thanks very much :)

Harriet, I have some NWT 80s cashmere by Krizia - same logo as resource but made in Hong Kong ??? - not sure of the size, but will check and not sure if you want to ship from Canada. Let me know.

The medium is a soft beige or deep bone (you say potatoe, I say...) cashmere cardigan with a repeat patter of some sort of hound face. I would consider slouchy. Would you like me to post pics? If so, I will do tonight as tomorrow is booked.

It's all slouchy: one pair of pants with an 80s high waist and one long-sleeved turtle neck - no pattern. And one below the knee skirt with panda pattern (thank you, Harriet! I thought it was a bull terrier :BAGUSE:, amazing I sell anything when you think of it...)

Linda, I won't have time to take pics today, but will be happy to tomorrow afternoon. Lemmeno

Harriet, I have a small purple shrug-type sweater, cashmere but lined in silk. Vintage 50's I think. I have not shot it; if you would like to see it, let me know and I'll take a couple of photos. It is very, very soft!

Harriet, I will find it later today after running errands, and shoot a quick couple of shots tonight to post for you tomorrow! I packed it away, but think I know right where it is! If your mom is tiny, this should fit because it belonged to the Hollywood designer whose estate lot I bought, and she was a petite little thing--most of her personal things and her runway samples are in the U.S. size 4 to 8 range.

Harriet, here are thumbnails of the sweater--click to see full size. The sweater is short, about waist length, and the sleeves are above the wrist, so if you mum is tiny, this wouldn't overpower her. It is slightly "blousy" to allow other things to be worn under it--even other sweaters. That flowered lining is silk, and is only thru the body of the sweater, not the sleeves. The color is not as bright as it appears on my monitor--it's more of a soft lilac rather than bright violet!

If you might be interested please U2U me and I can give you more details, measurements, etc. As best I can tell, it is NOS; no signs of wear.
