Castillo

Hello,

I thrifted a coat label "Castillo" and i'm wondering about the brand. Is it Antonio del Castillo ? I've done a lot of research and I can't find another brand named Castillo in France. However, the label does not resemble Antonio del Castillo's clothes.

Could you show a clear image of the inside seams and if there are any other labels. Is the fit slim? Are the sleeves slim fitting? Could you show it on a dress form or if not possible laying flat?

I am sure that is the same Castillo because his eponymous label was founded in 1964 in Paris, so there wouldn't be another company using the same name for the same product. The label existed into the 1970s at least (I don't know when it closed) but your coat dress looks middly 70s, perhaps after Castillo retired and Dominic Toubeix took over as designer in 1974. Toubeix had been designing coats for the New York firm Originala before moving over to Castillo...
