Catch Up & My NEW Den!!

Well l am back to work, with 2 days under my belt. Funny how l got all butterfly tummy first day back, thursday!!The finger is still protected by a bandage as not completely healed but as its still numb and yet painful if i hit it, and it aches all the time, l can manage with finger at attention.
During my last few day l managed to get cracking on 'my den' or my space!!

l've laid carpet tiles, and moved out most of the surplus gardening supplies to my GREENhouse...found an old pink painted pub chair...and brought in all my art supplies from around the house and garage into one space, l have found an old 50's Bush record player, but speakers are noisy so must replace...l have two manni's and two busts to dress..still to do....a work in progress..!!

I have art postcards and found some of my unframed artwork to hang about me and great pics from mags stuck into books all for inspiration...l may even start sculpting again as well.....l keep thinking l'll do it when l'm calmer, but l hope now this will help calm me....down!

this will only be feasible for the next months until october, as all fabric and paper with die in the winter...it is heated but too costly really. all the vintie gear is in vacuum bags underneath in boxes.....excess still in garage.

On wednesday l'm off on my trip to Kent o see folks and friends..and a day in london on the way back. I'm hoping to catch the NATIONAL PORTRAIT GALLERY exhibition of VANITY FAIR PORTRAITS>..will anyone be around to join me, it wold be great to see it with someone and grab a coffee up charing cross road???

I am so jealous. This looks like the perfect place to take care of (been mowing too much lately). Love the flowers and the green house and your lovely paintings!

(Does your neighbors think...what is that crazy lady doing with a dress form in her greenhouse?...lol...probably what my neighbors think about a naked mannequin on my screened-in back porch.)

funny that Linda, my neighbours have been asking about my greenhouse activity, as l have light and electricity and am sometimes pottering in the late evenings...and l assumed they were appreciating my gardeningat night...LOL....

one neighbour said the two greenhouses were a 'his and hers' set up and that noone has used them in over 5 years....she said its nice to see them used..though the purpose may be questionable agreed!!
i was sad to see the condensation out there this morning, hope the paintings are ok...might not be wise to have them there....l will check as l went right to work this morning and had no time to check.....weird the different things we all hold precious!!
