Category help for Lot

I am moving forward with selling a "Preppy Lot". I know, preppy is what's old is new this spring, but I don't have enough room to keep everything. I have a pair of Lilly Pulitzer pants that I am offering for sale seperately.

The question is category. I can only pick two

Timeframe on these items is from the 60s to about 80ish.
The ebay category possibilities are:

clothing wholesale lots >vintage
then what would be the second??
vintage>mod hippie disco>outerwear
"" "" "" >skirts
vintage>punk new wave>skirts
vintage>mod hippie disco>sweaters

are all possibilities. I can't pick 12 categories so what would you do?

Chris

Chris, I would list in clothing wholesale lots>vintage definitely.

Going to check the categories, but there used to be an "other" category in vintage also.

Sue

thanks Sue.

I was thinking about the wholesale lots.

That's a good idea about the "other" category because even though folks would't maybe browse that one as much, it does keep it within the large vintage category if someone is doing a keyword search

Chris

I think maybe list in skirts since they are getting so much attention this Spring.

Hmmm...that is an idea. I do have one more skirt. Its pink. But it is a totally different size than about what it is in this lot. I kept the size range roughly medium to appeal to wearers. But another idea is to just toss it in there.

Just a thought....I am constantly looking for vintage jewelry lots on eBay. I have found over the years that the lots listed in "Wholesale lots" go for less money than if they were just listed in a jewelry category. Of course, as a buyer looking to resell, I look in "wholesale" first.....but as a seller, I might bypass that category.

that's a good thought too. The problem is that i guess i have too many types of items here... I have two eras, 4-5 different types of items. Maybe i should start the lot from scratch and instead of doing a preppy lot, do just a 60s and 70s or 70s and 80s lot... hmmmmmmm... i just don't know!
