Celine Wool Skirt - 1970s or 60s?

I came across a Celine Wool Skirt this week, and I would estimate it to be a size 14, I would really appreciate any help with regard to the age of this skirt.

The label reads "Celine, Paris, Made in France".

I have attached some picutures (although not great quality as I need to buy a new camera).

I am new to finding vintage clothes, but paid a couple of pounds for this skirt.

The skirt is in exceptional condition, although the lining is starting to tear around the zip. It still has the original zip which works perfectly.

I do not intend to sell on e-bay, but could not find hardly any celine for sale, and any thoughts or comments would be really appreciated.

Hi - Off hand I can't help, but someone should be along. Does the skirt have pleats in the back? And how long is it? Is that a big waistband or small belt? :icon_dante:

Regarding the waistband/belt: According to the VFG's label resource, Celine's "clothes often have their trademark metal horse-bit with chain detailing which was first used in 1972."

So that helps narrow date a bit!

I love the label resource. It has a similar label that also came from a 1970s skirt - that's certainly the date I'd put on your skirt, Coral.
