Chanel buttons with 31 number?

I want to buy a chanel jacket from second hand shop, but the buttons have 31 on it. Is this common?

Based on the label and size label, this is a ready-to-wear design. Since it's an unlined knit, it's probably Cruise or Spring/Summer collection.

I've never seen these buttons, but Lagerfeld introduced a lot of different buttons and these are interesting for a more casual outfit. If this outfit fits you and you're happy with the price, I think you'll enjoy wearing it. The buttons are a great conversation starter.

I've seen these buttons on Chanel clothing, with the 31. Metal buttons on cardigans. I have also seen just to the buttons being sold on line, as replacements for a lost one. So not unusual at all.

You can *maybe* get Chanel to authenticate. I would see online how they do that, if they do currently.
