I found this at an exclusive estate sale a year ago, and am finally getting around to research on it. No tag, but wondering if anyone knows if this is a Chanel pattern, and the possibility if it is real.
Thank you.

Hi Charmaine, and welcome to the forums.

You'll be aware from reading the guidelines that we're not able to authenticate items from photos: best to take it to a Chanel expert for that, but I can suggest that it's likely to be a Chanel pattern whether it's fake or not, as fakers will likely use existing Chanel designs but of course, that gives no indication of whether it is real or not.

Fabric composition might help, but personally, I find it odd that there are no labels at all, not even fabric, country of origin or care instructions because they're required by law. Any sign perhaps that they were cut off?

I also found this reversible scarf, it was a steal, but no tags, it looks and feels like quality...any info would be helpful!

I checked with a friend who is a long-time Chanel customer. She has a close relations with her salesperson and receives many catalogs and marketing materials from Chanel. She indicated that she had never seen a scarf like this.

I saw one of the scarves in a store in Bali where they dyed, wove, and sold expensive ikat scarves. The "Chanel" scarf was priced at $50.--much less than the ikats. This leads me to think these scarves are fakes.

Even wealthy women buy knock-offs and they mix them in with originals so it's not unusual to find them at estate sales.

I actually found another scarf exactly like this for sale on Etsy, and requested info, because if this is a fake the quality is amazing, the border is stitched completely separate from the center of the scarf, and the edges are sewn to perfection, not to mention the look and feel of the fabric, and this is quite and old scarf! I hope the seller gets back to me with what he knows!
