Choosing the right vintage decade

I am going to try and collect one complete vintage outfit from head to toe with ever item in between .
I was wondering with the great knowledge of members some one could suggest a decade or style of dress
Which when I am wearing it would give me a good idea of what it would have been like for a lady from that period to have worn that style?.

Hmm..I think the first thing I would suggest is pick a particular style era or decade that you find you most relate/gravitate towards. That is the best way to go. Then, if you end up wanting to collect a complete head to toe+accessories outfit from another time, you can always expand into that. But if only doing one, i think it would mean more to you in the long run if it is from a time you are fond of.

Also, maybe decide whether you want to start with a favorite item from your collection and hunt for the different accessories that would most suit it. Or you want to take on a whole fresh challegene
