Christian Dior Boutique label - woman's long black blazer

Hi there,

I needed some help with a recent product I purchased. I bought it from a Vintage store in England. It is a Christian Dior (label is Christian Dior Boutique) black long blazer, with white/cream round buttons. There was an inspection tag on it from a company called REBELLE to confirm its authenticity, however, I wanted to double check with anyone on the forum that might have knowledge or information about this product? I have attached some images.

The quality is in impicable condition.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I think 80’s because of the washing instruction label. though the styling seems earlier. Are the shoulder pads foam? Do they have a spongy feel when you press them?

oh wow! thanks for that. I just felt the shoulder pads, they are padded, yeah a spongy feel. That's what it looks when I put it on.

I think it’s likely 80’s (80’s does 40’s)

I see early 1990s, based on the fit, the length and the narrow shawl collar. Are the buttons original? they seem an odd choice for that jacket, but who knows? Could be late 80s though.

I did think of 90’s but I don’t see a tumble dry symbol. I believe in European countries it was added between 1985-1987. Presuming it’s made in Europe
Oh wow, just saw the fit on. It really does look like 90’s.
