Hi Everyone. I hope to get some information about an evening dress I own. The label has the number 06434 on it. I'm hoping this dress is legit. It appears to be made from silk or tafeta. It is in mint condition, no wear or stains. It has always been stored in a dark closet. There is quite a bit of hand sewing and the zipper has the name Lightning and is metal. The last pic is the lining. I'd appreciate any information you can offer. Thanks.

Hi Laurie!! Wow that dress is something special! A 1950's Dream! I found a similar dress with your exact label (different number) from one of our very own VFG member Kerry Taylor's website Kerry Taylor Auctions @Kerry Taylor
Here is some information on this label from the Victoria and Albert Museum: "Following the success of his haute couture house in Paris, in 1952 Christian Dior set up a London-based company, C. D. Models (London) Ltd., to sell high-end ready-to-wear versions of his designs to the British public..."
Additionally, this is our Dior label resource page- however it appears we do not have a label like yours! (We would love too though!!)

Thank you for the quick response. Do you need the label physically or is a picture enough.
The dress is probably a modern size 6-8. It doesn't fit and I'd be interested in selling. Do you have any idea it's worth?

We do not do authentication or appraisals. But I think if you look around you can get an idea of what others have sold for.
