Christian Dior cotton bandeau top

Can anyone help with dating this Christian Dior separates bandeau halter top?
There is no materials listed, but it feels like cotton.
70s? 90s? Is it even vintage?

Great top, would love to have seen what the other "separates" were.

The colours make me think of the 80s. I am unfamiliar with that Dior Separates label. It would be good to add it to the label resource.

MJ, I see '80s too in the colours - and remember that style of top (as a bikini) in about 1980 so I'll go with a very early '80s date I think.

The label is identical to a pair of culottes I bought in the mid 1980's.

I am a little late to the thread here, but just to underscore what the VFG members told you already about the dating, a 1989 WWD article noted that: "The Christian Dior Separates division of the Jones Apparel Group has undergone a name change and is being upgraded a notch beginning with the spring 1990 selling season." It adds that "...The Jones Apparel Group...has held the Christian Dior sportswear license for 11 years. The label on the garments and the line will now be known as Christian Dior." And, finally, it notes that: "The collection is more expensive because better fabrics, like silk as opposed to rayon, are now being used."
