Christian Dior Mohair Coat Help

Hi,
I purchased this Gorgeous Full Length CHRISTIAN DIOR MOHAIR Coat today. The Lining has the Signature CD Logos. I believe your Label Resource dates this 1960's. Would you consider this Print a PLAID? Fall Colors? It is 2 Button front. Any help on the description would be helpfull. There are 2 tags on the seam. 1. Lot Size 12 and 2. DRY CLEAN ONLY Made in USA of Imported Fabric. I have no idea what to start this Beauty off at?? Click on photos to enlarge. Thanks for all your help.




 
Nice score on the coat! Very pretty. Yes to plaid mohair. Definite fall colors, looks more 80's to me though, with the big shoulders, can you feel if extra shoulder pads are inside the lining? The lining also looks kinda 80's as well. Maybe someone more knowledgeable about dior coats will come along soon.
 
I can feel the shoulder pads between the lining and the mohair. Thanks, as I was wondering why I haven't heard more from the Members, I would think there are some DIOR Fans out there. Thanks so much
 
I was thinking 80s too, with that deep lapel and double button...but I'm a DIOR fan NOT an expert. My backbrain is saying 'shadowplaid'....

since it's the weekend, most everyone is probably off vintaging & enjoying the warm weather. you'll probably get more answers on monday. dior is highly sought after, regardless of era, although if you could stand to hold off until the end of summer, say end of july or first of august, you'll likely get much more for it, especially on ebay.

With the shape/cut of the coat, plus the big ol shoulder pads, I think you'd be safe listing it as 80's, if you need to. imo i'm no dior expert, but i do have a few pieces, hats & lingerie from the 60's to 80's.

Thanks all of you who answered. I will wait till the weekend is over but now that I look at the coat 80's is more like the Era. Any idea at what I should start it off at? Thanks
