City Paris 'EES" Mink Coat

I was asked by an older man to look into selling this item because he has difficulty with computers. I haven't seen it in person yet, and have drawn zero results on the internet. He insists it was made in the 1950's in Paris. I'm aware enough about French to believe 'City Paris' is a misleading title he applied without thought, because city translates to ville in French. All the same, I figured I'd post it as a shot in the dark of anyone recognizing it. I'm personally ignorant of the fashion world, so here I am. Freeroll time!

I might meet up in person to examine the coat and his other items further. He has some old lead windows I saw pics of that could be legit. I just wanna figure if this old man is legit or a big talker.

Please let me know if you have any leads. I have no clue what I'm doing.

EES are the initials of the previous owner not a maker. That's what they did so as not to confuse the coat check girl. ; )

I'm in contact with him to meet up and take my own pictures of the coat at some point. I'll be sure to get closer pictures! I might even solve the validity of the coat because of it lol

I cannot see the label clearly, but it looks like the label from the now defunct San Francisco department store, City Of Paris. City Of Paris was a high end store, selling lovely garments.
